As someone who’s seen all the scams, and even signed up to a few in my earlier days of sourcing an online income, I know what to look for when it comes to illegitimate programs. They are everywhere and you really need to be aware of these scammers.
The lure of riches can be too much for some people, and the emotion of thinking you’ll make money fast can often overcome the your logical side. If you focus on how these programs are supposed to make you money, you’ll often realize they will not tell you the full story before signing you up.
Here’s a few of these scam sites so you know what to look out for.
What is ‘Freedom Shortcut’
Cost: Price: $49 + $1,000’s – $10,000’s upsells
Any program that states that you’ll be making thousands of dollars, and won’t require you to put in any time or money, is just NOT a legitimate opportunity. This is exactly what the sales video is suggesting, which is a complete falsism.
No program can claim to have you making this sort of money without investment, and they claim this whilst advising you to pay the initial $49 sign-up fee! What’s that about.
This is not the first time these guys have been stitching people up with a illegitimate program, they’ve previously come out with a different scam called Payday Shortcut, which is no longer active. I doubt this Freedom Shortcut program will last much longer either.
How it Really Works
You’ll have no idea the costs that are really involved until you pay, what you think is the full amount for a course, of $49. This smallish cost will only get you so far. It will allow you to find out that they will sell you a ‘6 Figure Business System’, costing much more. In fact you’ll actually being advised to purchase ‘Home Online Institute’ course, which is a known scam.
It’s a very similar program to the famous MOBE scandal which has now been shut down. It’s all about paying large sums for products to sell, then attempting to get sales yourself. This is how the owners make their money, by selling you products that you’ll struggle to sell yourself. If you did get loads of traffic, there’s a chance you may be able to sell these products.
Website traffic however, is the hardest part of any campaigns, here’s why. There’s two main ways to get web traffic, paid and organic via search engines. Paid traffic, well, that will just cost you more and will also require a steep learning curve in regards to targeting. SEO organic traffic on the other hand, will take you many months to rank. So without traffic, you’ll be stuck with these expensive products. Here’s how I get free traffic for my website.
As far as the products go, what even are these products? Well, it’s been noted that this company is associated with a health products MLM company called Vemma. You didn’t know you were going to join a terrible MLM scheme did you! If you’re interested, here’s the difference between affiliate marketing or MLM.
Having checked out Warrior Forum, I also found this little snipped that proves the actors are totally fake.
Let’s take a look at another site you may want to keep clear of.
What is ‘Mass Income Machines’
Cost: Price: $37 + upsells
Well, I don’t know about you but I’d certainly be sceptical about a program that claims you’ll soon be making 42,000 per month! I mean seriously, if this was a legitimate opportunity then we’d all be doing it.
If you join this program, you may be contributing to earning the owners $42k per month, but sorry to burst your bubble, you won’t be.
This program will have you believe that you’ll be affiliate marketing for various products on Clickbank. Whilst this is true, these products are owned by the owners of Mass Income Machines! Coincidence.
How Does it Really Work
Simply put, you’ll be earning more money for the owners of this company than you will for yourself.
Affiliate marketing is a great way to earn an income. I know this because I make money this way. However, I choose which affiliate products I want to promote and in which niche.
You will be promoting the products that Jacob Allen and John Forbes own, including, you guessed it, Mass Income Machines. So, when sales are achieved, not only will you make a small commission, these guys will be making larger cuts. This is at a guess mind you, because they don’t disclose what commissions you’ll be making. So I doubt it will be a large percentage.
What I find more interesting, is the lack of transparency in regards to how you’ll achieve these sales. Will they supply you with a website and give you traffic sources of some kind. They do suggest this system targets big time buyers, I’d like to know how this is achieved.
You really need to know all the details of what you’re entering into.
What is Secret Investor Society
Cost: Price: Apparently free (But it’s not!)
He’s one you’ll really like, the ridiculous claims made in the sales video are astounding. This guy named Simon Green, says you’re apparently going to earn a minimum of $25,000 per week by flipping online real estate! Sure, no problem.
And apparently, 132 people have been made filthy rich within 2.5 months of signing up! Wow, seems too good to be true doesn’t it? That’s because it’s a load of crap.
It’s starts with the tacky sales video, full of false claims about how you’ll be making millions in such a short time-frame, and how this guy went from flat broke to multi-millionaire in a couple of months. Yeah yeah, we’ve heard those sales pitches before. On just about every other scam out there.
Simon claims this is all about advertisement flipping, and he’s known as ‘the flipper’! Yeah, unusual hey. I’ve never heard of advertising flipping either.
How Does it Really Work
When you sign up to this program, you’ll be asked to invest (see, told you it’s not free) a minimum of $250 to purchase a package of banner ads, that will be flipped via different websites. Only this doesn’t happen, the banner ads and packages are not even real.
It’s all done via a different program called BannerBit, which has become widely known as a scam. This program makes it look as if you’re purchasing ads and flipping them, but nothing is actually happening behind the scenes. So any money you ‘invest’, goes to the scam artists for them to invest for themselves.
If you see your figures change in this program and decide to make a withdrawal, you’ll be asked to provide your financial details, and then you’ll never hear from them again.
One of the big giveaways about this fake website is that the videos & images of any people, have been found on stock images sites. The videos on Secret Investor Society are done by actors offering their services on Fiverr. The images of the Banner Bit team are stock images of models that can be found on Shutterstock. They are not the actual BannerBit team. In fact these models wouldn’t even know their images are being used like this.
Recognise this fellow.
This is a shocker, keep away.
Here’s some other scams you may want to steer away from:
These scams are all over the internet and you really need to be careful to avoid them. I know many of you are drawn into the lure of a quick buck, it’s the emotion that takes over when told you’ll earn large sums of money. Unfortunately, you’ll lose way more than you’ll make.
There are some legitimate options out there but you will need to work a little harder to make them work in your favour. I’m an affiliate marketer and this is an opportunity where you can earn you a good income. However, I did have to work on setting up my website and writing informative content before I started making money.

Like many people, I struggled in my early attempts to make money online. It's really frustrating when you try product after product, searching for that elusive opportunity that is really genuine.
Eventually though, I learned how to achieve success in the online world with my own website. This website was created to show others how to do it. I direct people away from the poor opportunities and advise the good ones.
But the simplest and least complicated is [Learn more...]
