Is Affiliate Accelerator a Scam

Intro.

Another product I’ve seen come on to the digital market lately, is Affiliate Accelerator. It’s been created by a couple of guys named Billy Darr And Justin Opay, and you may have seen marketers promoting this product on YouTube.

These marketers are an affiliate of the product, and therefore have an interest in making a sale for the owners. I have no affiliation with this product, so the information I provide here, along with my opinion, are impartial.

I’ll explain what I know about this Affiliate Accelerator product, and if I think you can make money with it.

What is Affiliate Accelerator

To be honest, I’m always sceptical when a product creator claims “How I Bank $100, $200, $300 Even $500+ In As Little As 15 Minutes A Day…”. And then goes on to say you can make it quickly. The reason for my scepticism? I’m an affiliate marketer and I know how challenging this industry can be.

What you’re going to get inside the members area of Affiliate Accelerator, is a series of videos that will apparently teach you all there is to know about affiliate marketing. There’s 4 modules, each with 5 videos that run for approximately 10 minutes.

The sales video claims that Affiliate Accelerator is a premium coaching platform without the price tag. Honestly, I don’t believe this is a premium coaching platform. The sales video states that they could easily sell this for over $1,000. Ahh…No.

Here’s the spiel:

  • Failing to get results online
  • Tired of buying product after product
  • Sick of not being able to break through
  • You want something Genuine, Honest, Trustworthy
  • Proven to get you life changing results

These are typical one-liners to make it seem like they’ve been in your shoes. You’ll also be told that you will learn how to recoup your investment 10 fold in 5 minutes flat. Well, after going through the training, I didn’t find any evidence of this. That’s because you need to purchase the up-sells to find this out. Even then, you won’t make your money back in 5 minutes flat.

So this product claims it will take you from complete newbie, to affiliate superstar in the fastest possible time. You’ll learn how their students have gone from nothing, to $100-$500 per day with affiliate offers.

Billy and Justin say they don’t need to fill their sales page with fancy graphics to prove how good their products are. They say they’ve released many products which proves their products are great.

So, I did a Google search. Sure, they have released products in the past. But I’m not too impressed with some of the reviews. Here’s some reviews of their previous work:

Traffic X
Push Button Traffic
Untapped Passive Profits

Now I’m not saying this is a scam, in fact there’s some decent information here. So, let’s see what’s inside Affiliate Accelerator.

How Does Affiliate Accelerator Work

Inside the members area of Affiliate Accelerator, you’ll be presented with 4 modules of videos. Along with each module, is a form to fill out, called “Action Steps”. I actually like this, as it encourages you to perform what they’ve taught you.

I touched on the videos above, so here’s a list of each module and their respective videos.

Videos on the Inside:

Module #1 – The Fundamentals

  • Overview
  • The Big Picture
  • Affiliate Networks
  • Required Tools
  • Niche & Product Selection
  • Action Steps

Module #2 – The Setup

  • Overview
  • The Affiliate Funnel
  • The lead Magnet
  • The Affiliate Funnel Setup
  • Action Steps

Module #3 – Getting Traffic

  • Overview
  • Traffic method #1 – Facebook
  • Traffic Method #2 – Solo Ads
  • Traffic Method #3 – Incluencer (Instagram & YouTube)
  • Retargeting
  • Action Steps

Module #4 – Consistent Sales

  • Overview
  • Finding products
  • Bonuses
  • The Email Strategy
  • Bonus Pages
  • Action Steps

Even though there is some good information in the videos, I find there’s not enough information or diversity. Affiliate marketing encompasses lots of relevant parts, all requiring a learning curve. The details you’ll get with this course are just enough to get you thinking about the upsells. Which is precisely the intention.

Is Affiliate Accelerator a Scam Inside

What do I mean by upsells? Well, you didn’t think that $17.95 is going to make the owners wealthy did you? The whole intention is to create just enough training, that you’ll want more. Hence, the upsells. These are additional products that will be promoted to you, promising much better results.

Then again, why would you need better results if the original sales video says you’ll be earning up to $500 per day? As I said, the training with Affiliate Accelerator itself is only basic.

The Upsells Inside

So, here come the upsells. They’ll try to convince you that these upsells will help progress your affiliate marketing skills and results. Notice the cost of each of these, they’re not cheap.

  • Upsell #1 – Affiliate Accelerator – Automated Edition ($97) – Provides an affiliate software that creates simple PDF’s to include as a bonus page. These can be shared on social media, with your affiliate link embedded.
  • Upsell #2 – Affiliate Accelerator – Traffic Edition ($47) – This is a traffic app that allows for syndication of video, text and images to various social media sites. Apparently this is free traffic, except you’ve paid $47 for it.
  • Upsell #3 – Affiliate Accelerator – 1K Edition ($97) – Training on how you can POTENTIALLY scale up to $1,000 per day. That’s a lot of money for potential.
  • Upsell #4 – Affiliate Accelerator – License Edition ($47) – You’ll become approved as a reseller for this product.
  • Upsell #5 – Affiliate Accelerator – Diamond Edition ($197) – You’ll get Billy’s help to setup a custom funnel for you, and have your own domain as opposed to using Click Funnels hosting. You’ll still have to pay for your hosting and domain. You’ll also be shown how to setup an autoresponder account, at your own expense.

So are these upsells worth the money? Not in my opinion. If you were to purchase Affiliate Accelerator, plus all the upsells, you’d be up for $502.95. A much better option would be to get 1 years membership with my No.1 recommendation for $359. Even better, you can check it out for free. Keep the free membership, or go premium and pay monthly, 6 monthly or annually.

Will You See Results With Affiliate Accelerator

I believe that there’s some decent training here, but I doubt there’s enough information to see the results claimed on the sales page. The upsells may help you, but there’s much better alternatives to Affiliate Accelerator in my opinion.

Just another thing in terms of cost. They begin selling Affiliate Accelerator for $17.95, and the price increases each day. However, after the introductory offer ends, the cost will go back up to $97. This is a sales tactic to get you to purchase quickly.

Oh, and another thing. The funnel process that you’ll be taught, is done through a popular program called ClickFunnels. So, not only will you be up for the associated costs I previously mentioned, you can add another $97 per month to this cost.

Now, About That Traffic

There’s no substitute for free organic traffic, which is achieved by getting your website posts and pages seen in the search engines, such as Google. All affiliate marketers know this, but they also understand that it takes time to achieve this.

For this reason, products like Affiliate Accelerator will claim they can get you results quickly, because that’s what people want to hear. But to accomplish this, you need paid traffic. As you can see in the video descriptions, you’ll be using Facebook, Solo ads etc. These are all paid methods of traffic generation.

So, you’ll need to be prepared to pay for testing adverts, which can mount up. The most challenging part of paid advertising is the balance between budgeting and targeting. It can take Facebook several days or longer to work out who your target buyers are, which can be a nervous time. I’m not saying it can’t be done, but it’s risky for newbies.

My Verdict

Do I think that Affiliate Accelerator is a scam. No I don’t. There’s some reasonable training in this series of videos, albeit brief. Will you see results from the initial product? I don’t believe so.

There’s been so many products released that claim they can teach you affiliate marketing, amongst other online income generating methods. The majority of these only touch the surface of the intended method. For instance, the traffic videos include only one for Facebook ads. I’ve watched other courses that provide over 10 videos for this alone, as there is a lot to learn.

I’d urge you to only purchase a product you trust. Products like this come and go. As I’ve mentioned, the owners have released various products in the past, with limited value. They’ll also release more in the future, with minor value.

A Better Affiliate Marketing Option

If you’re after a platform that has provided excellent value since 2005, take a look at my No.1 recommendation. This is a truly proven platform that has helped thousands of affiliate marketers reach their aspirations. I believe in this platform so much, I’ve been a member since 2104, and continue to be an active member.

Included in you membership is the following:

  • Website Hosting
  • Community of thousands
  • Keyword Search Tool

This truly is the pinnacle of affiliate marketing platforms.

Should you wish to learn as I did, I’d be more than willing to help you along the way. You can read my review of this platform here.

Wrapping Up

I hope I’ve cleared up any reservations you may have had with Affiliate Accelerator. Would I recommend it? No. There are much better alternatives to learn affiliate marketing that provide better value.

Anyone can be an affiliate marketer, and there’s various methods to achieve website traffic. If you’re new at this, or if you’ve been struggling to gain traction, I’d urge you to consider my No.1 recommendation. You’d be amazed with the value they provide.

Like many people, I struggled in my early attempts to make money online. It's really frustrating when you try product after product, searching for that elusive opportunity that is really genuine.
