IG Money Tree Review
Instagram is obviously one of the big players in the social media circle. Which means product creators will attempt to take advantage of this huge resource, by claiming they’ve created a product that can use Instagram in your favour.
That’s exactly what IG Money Tree claims to do. So, is IG Money Tree a scam, or a genuine opportunity to grow your email list and make as much as $302 per day. I’ll show you what I know about this product, and whether I believe you’ll make money with it.
I want to declare that I have no affiliation with IG Money Tree, so my review is impartial. So let’s go, and get stuck into this IG Money Tree review.

IG Money Tree Summary
Product Name: IG Money Tree
Founder/Owner: Tom E Mcting & Bryan Winters
Product Type: Instagram List Building & Profits
Program Summary: In my opinion, this will take a long time to get any traction. The reason being, it still takes a fair amount of time to get your initial Instagram followers. Then you are hoping they click on your profile, then hoping they watch the product promotions, then finally hoping they purchase.
Would I Recommend It: No
What is IG Money Tree
First off, let’s take a look at what the sales page is telling us. With an exceptional looking landing page, there’s bright colours and huge font, making this seems like the professional tool you need. But looks can be deceiving.
Apparently, this is an automated viral income software, or at least that’s what we’re told in the sales video. This is 99% done-for-you, meaning you will hardly have to lift a finger. They say that all you need to do is enter your username and money link, then you’re done. Well, this just sounds too good doesn’t it.
The product comes complete with an email built in capture system, viral list and income builder, and ‘top secret’ AUTOPILOT ‘following builder’. We’re also told that it only takes 60 seconds to setup, and this system does not require any paid traffic.
So, apparently they’ve covered all the bases, and all the hard work is done for you. You won’t require any of the below elements to get started.
What concerns me about a lot of these programs that have been released in a similar fashion, with a similar sales page, is that there’s no real explanation of what the program involves. They love explaining that you’ll make loads of money, and that it’s so easy and everything is done on ‘Autopilot’, but I want to see a working product on the sales page.
It’s basically all about how they are nuts giving you this system so cheaply, about income proofs (which are not really proof), and how automated businesses can allow them to have such a busy lifestyle, travelling and spending more time with family. But you want to see what the product is all about.
Why would you purchase a product if you can’t see what you’re getting. I’ll tell you why. Because it’s not as easy as they make out.
How Does IG Money Tree Work
So, here’s how the IG Money Tree system really works. Firstly, you will not be setting this up within 60 seconds. Secondly, this is a sales funnel that encourages you to purchase more of the products released by these guys. Let me explain.
Before I do though, I just want to mention that many of the affiliate marketers that are promoting this product, even say it’s not that easy to get your head around. It takes a bit of toing and froing to understand how this all works, so this may be a little hard to describe.
When you begin, you’ll be asked to create your account with your Instagram username. Yep, fairly simple. You’ll then be given a link to a website address, which you will paste into your Instagram bio page. This is a link to a product page that you will hope to get visitors to. They will then hopefully, enter their email address, and then make a purchase.
Now, the product page is this same product, IG Money Tree. So, by joining this system, you’re attempting to get others to also join. What will you get from these referrals? Their email address. While this is good to create an email list, it could take a very long time.
You’ll also get prompts to follow a select number of new Instagram members, which you will have to do manually. Yes, I know it says this is all done on autopilot, but you’ll need to wait for the upsells to get this.
But What About The Money?
Yep, there’s a way to earn commissions but it’s not explained on the sales page. You see, when you’ve confirmed these new members as followers, you’ll be presented with the following screen.
Your next step is to click on the button ‘Click Here To Continue To Your SECRET STEP!’. This takes you to a page that shows you the following.
So what you need to do here, is click the button I’ve circled which says ‘Click To join The featured Offer – ShopMonopoly’. That’s right, you need to JOIN (which means BUY) Shop Monopoly yourself to have the ability to earn commissions.
You can always opt out of buying ShopMonopoly, but here’s what they’ll tell you. You will not be earning any commission should you not buy this product NOW. They even have the balls to say you’re getting this for FREE, because you’re buying this just as you would if ordering outside of IG Money Tree! That’s cheeky.
I almost feel this is a bribe. Now, it says you can earn up to $300 per day with these commissions. But if you take a look at ShopMonopoly, it’s another one of Bryan Winters products and costs $20, plus a load of upsells. So you’ll only make small commissions unless a purchaser buys the upsells also.

Now The Upsells
What disappoints me about IG Money Tree, are the misleading statements on the sales page. Nowhere does it say you’ll be required to purchase any upsells to have the ability to accomplish all the results claimed.
So, let’s have a look at the upsells and what they involve.
Upsell #1 – IGMT’s Auto Income Switch ($97)
Instantly activates the IGMoneyTree viral, built in “deep-funnel”, which literally explodes the virality of the software, producing leads, followers and affiliate commissions at a frantic rate. Expert sky-high conversion rates on this OTO, as this upgrade will apparently be irresistible to your customers.
Upsell #2 – IGMT’s Email Money Squeeze ($47)
This upgrade allows you to double your profitability by auto-capturing the email address of every single new lead/follower. On top of that, it comes with 5 custom-built-for-IGMoneyTree squeeze pages, allowing you to seamlessly add their IGMoneyTree leads to their lists.
Upsell #3 – IGMT’s High Ticket Mogul ($197)
Adds HIGH TICKET $500-per-sale revenue stream your IGMoneyTree viral funnel by auto-displaying high ticket offers.
So, to have any chance of getting the results claimed on the sales page, I believe you’ll have to purchase all of these upsells. Even then, I believe you won’t get anywhere near what they claim.
Also, while they tell you that IG Money tree comes complete with an email built in capture system, you will still be required to sign up to an autoresponder service. Just thought I’d mention this, because it sounds like the program is all encompassing. An autoresponder service such as Aweber, will allow you to send out future emails to your email list. Without this, you only have a list.
If you were to buy all these upsells and the initial product being IG Money Tree, you’d be up for $361. If you want my opinion, I’d be paying $359 to an annual membership of my No.1 recommendation. This is the leading platform to learning affiliate marketing the correct way.
Will You See Results With IG Money Tree
If you’re asking me, is IG Money Tree a scam, no it isn’t. This is still a working product that can potentially get you followers, email addresses and even commissions. However, I find the sales page very misleading and don’t believe you’ll make anywhere near what is claimed.
They provide a 5 step action plan to help guide you through. Even step 2 insinuates that you’ll need to grow your own Instagram following. This all takes time.
And another thing. Step 3 explains how you can use Udimi.om to ‘rent’ an email list. This is called solo ads, which requires payment for each click you get. That doesn’t mean you pay per click when you make a sale, just each click you draw.
So what was that statement in the sales page, you don’t need traffic. Well, this is paying for traffic, which would be a cost you need to make back.
Will you see results with IG Money Tree? In my opinion, if you’re just purchasing the initial product, you may get a few leads and followers.
Tired of seeing Scams or endless fraud sites?
As I’ve stated, I wouldn’t be recommending this product. I find the sales page misleading as you’ll have to purchase the upsells to make any money. This is not ‘an income system like nothing you’ve ever seen’ as they claim in the sales video. This is not a ‘Complete Business in a Box’ like they claim.
Sales tactics where they use statements like ‘Runs on Autopilot’ and ‘Done-for-you System’ are misleading. In my opinion, there’s no product that runs on Autopilot. Sure, you can set yourself up with a great online affiliate website, or an online store, both will make you money while sleeping. However, you will need to work for it initially.

My Preferred Method To make Money Online
As I mentioned earlier, there’s a better place to put your money in my opinion. In fact, you can check it out for free to see if this is the type of money making venture you’re searching for.
If you’re looking to make money online quickly, you will probably keep finding band-aid solutions that claim you can make money quickly, but have no substance. Just about all the opportunities you find, will have a smallish initial price, then bombarded you with upsells. My top recommendation does not have upsells.
With this platform, the cost is the cost. Everything is included, and it’s loaded with training and tools to help you build your own money making website. This website becomes your asset, that becomes filled with unique content as you move forward.
It’s the exact platform that taught me to build this website, and I’m still an active member of this place. You can read my review to get a great insight into what this platform holds for you.

Just imagine where you will be one year from now if you take action on a proven successful online model like affiliate marketing. Don’t take action, and you’ll still be doing exactly as you are now, this time next year.
Instagram is a brilliant platform to gain a following and see what others are up to. Although it’s not really conducive to affiliate marketing because you cannot add links directly into posting, your bio page is the only area where this is possible.
The steps in the training here suggests that you’ll be posting regularly to get your own followers anyway, so why would you need this product. Unless you buy the upsells, you won’t be making commissions either.
In my view, YouTube will show you the best methods to gain a following. And it’s generally through persistent posting. Here’s another tip for Instagram. Use Linktree to allow more links in your bio.
Thanks for reading my IG Money Tree review, I hope it’s given you an insight into the product.
Like many people, I struggled in my early attempts to make money online. It's really frustrating when you try product after product, searching for that elusive opportunity that is really genuine.
Eventually though, I learned how to achieve success in the online world with my own website. This website was created to show others how to do it. I direct people away from the poor opportunities and advise the good ones.

Try actually using a product before you send people off to Wealthy Affiliate!
Hi Marc, thanks for taking the time to comment on my post.
Having viewed your website, it’s interesting that you’re the exact type of marketer that I speak of in my review. The marketer that promotes any new product that gets released, whether it be good or bad, just to make your commissions. The marketer that always offers your ‘exclusive bonuses’ with the product. The marketer that doesn’t always have their audience’s best interests in mind.
Anyway, sometimes purchasing a product is not always necessary to understand how it works. There’s also plenty of marketers like yourself that visually explain how it works on YouTube. It’s fairly easy to get a handle on whether a product is worth purchasing or not.
And yes, a true affiliate marketers job is to give value first, hence my honest opinion of this product. I never said that you cannot make money with IG Money Tree. I said that it will take time to build a following (which is what they also say in the training), and you cannot make money if you don’t purchase Shop Monopoly, which is also true.
Your attached image shows some commissions for Shop Monopoly. That’s great, I have no issue with Shop Monopoly and have not reviewed it. But how does anyone know that these commissions came via IG Money Tree’s association with Shop Monopoly?
In regards to Wealthy Affiliate, yes, I do promote it because I’ve never been involved in such a program that is so awesome. You may not have ever been a member there, in which case you will not understand how good it is.
Thanks for commenting Marc, and good luck with IG Money Tree if you genuinely use it.
Well….when a product sounds too good to be true, the buzzers in my head go off. So, I appreciate you taking the time to share this review of IG Money Tree.
The cheap price (only $20), 60 second set up, no paid ads, no experience necessary, system that helps you make loads of money while it is working on autopilot, sounds simply too good to be true. So, I don’t believe it any more than you seem to believe it is possible.
Oops, they forgot to tell us about the up sells?
Thanks for saving me a lot of time by sharing this review. You have provided enough information for me to know that is is clearly not a product that I am interested in investing in – even at $20.
Appreciate your thoughts Sondra. This won’t be the only product you’ll come across with misleading statements on their sales page. Don’t get me wrong, this is an authentic product. It’s just that the claims are too over-the-top to be realistic for people searching for that next great opportunity. Claims of being a ‘business-in-a-box’ are way off the mark.
Hi! I really hate these sites that are full of misleading statements. Yeah, I know that Instagram is a nice way to send more traffic to our site, but what this product offers is no way close to ‘Runs on Autopilot’ or ‘Done-for-you System’. Thank you very much for this review. You have saved me a ton of time!
You’re welcome Henry.
As you say, statements such as ‘on Autopilot’ and ‘Done-for-you’ are off the mark. Any realistic opportunity worth its weight comes down to effort and work ethic. These statement attract ‘hype’, which is what many product creators are attempting to achieve.
Pretty good site you have here. You’ve masted the art of bad mouthing a program in order to substitute your own program that you wish to promote making it seem like you are doing the user a favor. Of course site like yours are crap but hey, if you’re making money off other people promoting your shit bag programs then great.
That’s an interesting take Bryan. Sure, I do promote good programs, which is a lot more ethical that many marketers out there that just promote every new product that comes out, regardless of whether it’s a good product or not. It’s all about advising people which products can help, and which are less helpful.
But hey, go knock yourself out with IG Money Tree if you think it’s that good. I’ve given you my opinion of it, happy for you to prove me wrong.
By the way, there’s no need to leave a backlink to your website in an attempt to gain a higher ranking for yourself. I suspect you leave comments like this on multiple sites.
