Intro.

JokerBux has recently come to my attention, so I figured I’d snoop around and see what it’s all about. There’s been various reports that JokerBux is a scam, so I’m going to enlighten you with what I’ve researched.

By the time you’ve finished reading this review, you will be informed enough to make your own decision as to whether this is a good opportunity to make money or not.

So, read on to find out what you need to know.

Oh, and I’ll disclose now that I am not affiliated with JokerBux in any way, so this review is totally impartial.

What is JokerBux

What I find misleading is that JokerBux says you can ‘earn simply by browsing our advertisers’ websites’, yet they have membership tiers which cost you money in the first place.

Although they offer a standard membership which is free (and pays out very little), to earn more cents per click, you’ll be required to pay for one of the higher membership subscriptions.

So you will be paying to earn money, if that makes sense.

I set up an account to try it out and have a browse around. Here’s a look at the main dashboard on the inside.

Immediately what I didn’t like is the requirement for Flash Player. Flash player is no longer a safe installment on your PC, and you can find this out with a simple Google search.

Flash is a vulnerable program that has seen far too many malicious attacks, so it’s not recommended to install. This basically means that without Flash, you’ll lose the ability to view these initial adverts.

A secondary part to JokerBux is the usage for Advertisers rather than earning members. This seems quite contradictory, because the members generally don’t earn money here but advertisers will get a lot more out of this kind of platform.

I’m guessing you’re reading this review to get an understanding of how to earn money as a JokerBux member, so I’m going to stick with this side of the platform. So, let’s see what earning methods JokerBux has.

JokerBux Earning Methods

There’s several different ways you can earn money through JokerBux, here’s a brief:

• View Advertisements – Simply, you’ll be clicking on advertisements which will open in a new browser tab, and you’ll be required to watch the advert for a set time period. This is usually about 10 seconds, but some adverts will run for 20 seconds. Once the ad has concluded, you can close the tab down and you will have earned 1 pt. I’ll guide you through the value of points shortly.
• ClixGrid – Here, you’ll see an image behind a 27×20 square grid, giving you 520 squares to choose from. Pick one of the grid squares and a new advert will open. Again, watch the advert for the dedicated time and earn 1 pt.
• Crack the Vault – Open up the vault to display a code area. Choose a 4 number combination to see if you win the jackpot prize. You’ll need to have earned $0.01 to have a chance of entering this competition.

These are pretty much the earning methods inside of JokerBux, but there’s also the memberships and referrals to consider.

As I mentioned, there’s the free membership which will earn you the minimum payouts. Above this, here’s your membership options and their annual fee:

• Standard – $0.00
• Golden – $42.75
• Premium – $66.50
• Supertior – $380.00

Yes, Supertior, whatever that is. You can see for yourself the benefits that each membership offers in the image below.

Don’t ask me why it says ‘Discount 15% for all members in Black Friday”. I’m reviewing this in March, so Black Friday has been and gone 4 months ago!

Obviously you can see the figures go up per membership type, but does that really mean you’ll earn a load more money? Not really, because JokerBux pays so low in the first place.

Referrals are another way of earning money through JokerBux. Direct referrals is the most common, and attributes to those that you refer directly to JokerBux via your referral link. The bad news about referring others is that the lower membership you belong to, the lower your commission rate for bringing that person in.

Depending on your membership level, this determines how much money you make, if your withdrawals are instant and your commission rates. Obviously they want you to sign up to higher membership levels, but I wouldn’t be doing that. I just have my doubts about the legitimacy of JokerBux.

Earning Potential​

Okay. let’s get realistic here. You’re never going to make any decent money from a ‘paid to click’ website. I’m about to give you some perspective on what a point is worth inside of JokerBux, and how long it will take you to earn just $1.

If you look at the conversion table below, you can see that $1 = 100000.00 points. This means you need to get to 100,0000 points to earn a single dollar.

You can see that I’ve earned 2.00 pts, so if I wanted to convert this, I would receive $0.00002. Currently I cannot withdraw this amount, because I haven’t even reached a full cent, let alone the threshold limit required to make a withdrawal.

Now, to earn these 2 points of mine, I completed 2 tasks. I couldn’t do the general ‘View Advert’ because I was reluctant to install Flash Player, so I completed the JokerBux ClixGrid and Crack the Vault.

Above is the ClixGrid image which you can see two red squares. I have since done another ClixGrid task, which is why two squares have been removed.

So how long did it take me to complete the 2 tasks that I spoke about? By the time I clicked on the task, had an advert load in a new browser, watched the video play for 10 seconds, and returned to JokerBux site, it took approximately 40 seconds.

So let’s assume you did this for an hour, how many points would you earn. There’s 3,600 seconds in an hour, so divide this by 40 gives you 90 tasks, which equals 90 points.

So what will 90 points earn you in dollar terms? $0.00090. That’s not even 1 cent!

Is your time really worth this little?

I believe they entice you by giving the various membership options to earn higher amounts of points, but you need to make your membership fee back before you can start making any money yourself.

I hope this puts into perspective the wasted hours you can spend on PTC sites like JokerBux.

JokerBux Payments & Proofs

There’s 5 different payment methods that can be used with JokerBux. These are:

• PayPal
• Perfect Money
• Neteller
• Payeer
• CoinPayments

Payments will take 5 business days to clear into your account. Something I found extremely odd, is that they require you to submit a payment proof post in their forum.

Why would this need to be a necessity to receive your payments? If you are willing to waste your time with JokerBucks, then you should receive your payment regardless.

What is also interesting is the amount of people that have written in the forum about not receiving their payments, or having their payments always on pending, effectively being held to ransom until they upload payment proof. Even then, it seems they don’t receive their money.

Below is a selection of comments from one forum post. The first comment appears several times, meaning many people have had their JokerBux accounts banned.

It seems those that have tried to make money through JokerBux have come away disappointed.

Is JokerBux a Scam

After scanning through the JokerBux forum reviews, I decided to see if there were any other forums that had opinions. Only one review on Trust pilot which claims they haven’t been paid.

FoxyRatings had loads of unsavory comments in regards to JokerBux, here’s just a small sample size.

Taking all these opinions into account, along with the information I have researched, I find it difficult to call JokerBux a legitimate PTC site. There are several indications that would advise me to look elsewhere, otherwise the joke could be on you.

What You Need To Know

• Requirement to upload payment proof
• Payments only made via Paypal, PerfectMoney, Neteller, Bitcoin, and Payeer
• Not allowed to send your money to another person’s payment processor account
• Members from Vietnam must have a paid membership to be able to receive a payment
• Payments take up to 5 business days
• Members who receive a large number of denied signups will have their accounts flagged
• You may not refer to other people in your household

How I Earn Money Online
