Intro.

I figured it’s time to write a review about the Lifewave patches MLM opportunity that has been around for many years now. You may be considering LifeWave as an opportunity to make money by selling their well known patches, but require a few more questions answered first.

By the time you’ve read this review, you will have a clearer indication of what LifeWave is all about, and if it’s the correct fit for you.

What is LifeWave?

​If you’re reading this review, there’s a good chance you’ve been approached by somebody to accept an opportunity to become a LifeWave partner or consultant.

You’ve been sold on these amazing patches that can apparently improve your health, and your wealth, by earning on the side. So what is LifeWave, and is this opportunity they’re presenting really worth it?

LifeWave was created in 2004 by a gentleman named David Schmidt. They are essentially a multilevel marketing company in the health and well-being industry, and sell products in this niche.

They have a flagship product known as their LifeWave patches, which they claim can improve the health of your body when used on selected parts. The patches are a controversial product with many people claiming they have had minimal or no impact at all.

I’ll talk more about the LifeWave products, specifically the LifeWave patches, later in this review. I first want to get into the MLM side of the business.

LifeWave Patches Payment Options

Obviously, before signing up to any investment or income opportunity, you want to know your chances of making money with that company. So let’s have a look at how you can make money as a LifeWave Patches MLM consultant.

There’s pretty much 5 ways you can make money with LifeWave, which are listed below:

Retail Profits

Affiliate commissions from making direct retail sales. This is a good way to make income that doesn’t rely on your recruits. For each sale you make directly, you receive the profit between the retail and wholesale price.

Product Introduction Bonuses

As an active member, once you personally introduce a new Member to LifeWave products, you’ll earn a Product Introduction Bonus depending on the rank at which each new Member enrolls.

Binary Commissions

Based on a binary structure, this is a two tiered dimensional way of earning from those you recruit.

Commission Matching Bonuses

A 3-level deep commission structure that enables you to earn from your recruits. More a long term structure to build your own organization, you can earn commission matching bonuses earned by the people you personally enroll, and those that they enroll, and even another level deep.

PIB (Product Introduction Bonuses)

As a Diamond or Platinum member, this is a special kind of bonus for their two largest enrollment packages.

Apart from the retail profit affiliate commissions, the other options are basically earning residual commissions from people you recruit to make sales.

How To Get Started With LifeWave

So when you first sign up to LifeWave after being referred by a sponsor, you’ll be required to pay a $25 fee to join the Enrollment Starter membership. There’s 6 different membership levels, and here’s what you need to know.

As you can see, the 6 membership options rise quite significantly in value.

1. Starter Member – $25.00 USD
2. Bronze Member – $124.95 USD
3. Silver Member – $299.95 USD
4. Gold Member – $499.95 USD
5. Platinum Member – $999.95 USD
6. Diamond Member – $1,599.95 USD

Each level of membership will require a specific amount of product value sold. You’ll also be encouraged by your sponsor to purchase a higher level of membership, as this will give you a greater chance to earn more money.

While this is partly true, it also becomes more risky. If you’re interested in going deep into debt, this is a good way to do it. Those just beginning MLM careers should take things slowly, and not be rushed into higher membership levels that cost a lot.

MLM Success Is Rare

It’s a known fact that to become a successful MLM consultant, you need to work extremely hard and become one of the top performing distributors. The majority of MLM salespeople either don’t make any money, or only break even.

Here’s a diagram of how MLM’s generally work, showing how those at the top of the chain make the majority of all distributed funds.

Much of the reason for failed success as an MLM consultant is that there are associated costs incurred by you. Often you are encouraged to host house parties to sell your products.

Of course, you cannot have guests turn up without providing nibbles and refreshments. There are petrol costs, should you go to other venues, maybe rental costs of an event location. These costs are incurred by you and will not be reimbursed by the company.

What really gets people down is the fact you need to keep recruiting others. That’s because many of your recruits will drop off, and it gets harder and harder to recruit new people that are interested.

Also, initially your friends and family will be happy to purchase through you as their consultant, but this doesn’t last very long. Soon enough, you’ll find it more difficult to find new customers.

If you’re set on joining an MLM scheme, here’s what to look for in an MLM company.

What Are LifeWave Patches​

Although LifeWave offers various products, their foremost product is the LifeWave patches. There are some large claims made by LifeWave in regards to their patches, especially in regards to the nanotechnology method used.

This is where they use limited ingredients, with only water, oxygen,organics and amino acid used in their patches. This way they avoid the usage of drugs and chemicals which can have unsavory reactions to some people.

They were basically created for people to sustain energy without using drugs, stimulants, or caffeine.

Apparently, these patches can help your body in several ways:

• Improve sleep
• Anti-aging
• Give more energy
• Relieve pain
• Reduce stress
• Fat burning
• Help with discomfort
• Sharper mental focus

So, is it really possible for these patches to produce such good outcomes? While I’ve had no need to use these patches myself, from the research I’ve done, many people say they do work, and work well. Even athletes that have performed in the Olympics say they’ve used LifeWave patches.

With any product that makes bold claims though, there will be skeptics.

In terms of safety though, the patches are totally fine to use because of the lack of chemicals. What is extraordinary though, is the cost of these products for what they are.

Maybe this is why many people do sign up to become a LifeWave MLM consultant, because they think these small patches are an easy sell for decent commissions. As I’ve explained though, it doesn’t work like that.

LifeWave Reviews

I was actually staggered to see the amount of unsavory reviews that LifeWave have received. This is in terms of both their MLM opportunity, and the actual patches themselves. Not all reviews are poor, but I probably saw more poor reviews than good ones.

Here’s a snippet of reviews I took from Web of Trust, a website that judges a website based on their reviews. Oh, and because I have their Chrome extension installed, I also receive a warning about LifeWave before viewing their site, as you can see below.

This doesn’t mean their website is dodgy or you will get a virus from visiting. It just means people have left poor reviews of their brand.

One MLM reviewer gave a very detailed description of their experience when helping out a distributor.

I’m basically trying to give an idea of what happens when joining MLM schemes. They generally don’t run as smoothly or as accurately as suggested in the brochure.

Is LifeWave a Scam or Pyramid Scheme

No, LifeWave is not a scam nor a pyramid scheme. Although I’ve pointed out some of the uncomplimentary reviews to back up my opinion of MLM schemes, LifeWave is a legitimate company that has been around for many years.

They offer this opportunity to earn money through their MLM branch, I just don’t believe MLM’s are very successful for prospective consultants.

In terms of being a pyramid scheme, no, this is not a pyramid scheme. I can see how people will come to this conclusion, because the distributed funds are tier based. However, pyramids schemes are purely money based, without any real products changing hands.

LifeWave does offer genuine products, albeit expensive.

My Verdict

I believe that joining the LifeWave Patches MLM opportunity will not give you the income boost that you’re possibly hoping for. When it comes to multi-level marketing programs, I suggest only joining them if you have a passion or interest in the products they sell.

If you have no interest in what a company sells, then you’ll find it hard to promote products to potential customers.

How I Make Money

Is it easy to make money online? Well, I’d love to tell you yes. In fact the concept is easy, but you will need to apply yourself to some extent.

There are so many ‘guru’s’ out there claiming you can make money easily with their product, but the truth is, they just want your money.

It’s the same with multilevel marketing, they are attempting to make more money from their consultants. The more sales consultants make, the more the chiefs at the top of the chain make.

After falling for many different opportunities that offer the world, I finally understood that I can make money online if I put in the effort. Not only that, I needed to get the correct advice and channel the right direction. The best part, everything I earn goes to me. My income is not pooled and distributed. I take the lot.

Nowadays, I make decent commissions online from the work I put in. I had no experience when I started this, and it’s something anyone can learn. This is one of the most sustainable and genuine opportunities to make money online.
