Tranont Review

Intro.

I’ve recently been alerted to a compensation plan known as Tranont, and decided it could do with some clarification. Their website seems very unclear what they actually provide, and the question that often comes to mind when this happens, is Tranont a scam.

In this in-depth Tranont review, you’ll discover what Tranont is about, and whether or not you should consider joining. I’ll dig into the history and facts of Tranont, so by the time you’re done here, you should have a clearer understanding of what Tranont can offer you.

Update: As a brief update to this article, I just wanted to alert you to the current social impacts that affect MLM opportunities. Multilevel marketing consultants primarily work by hosting house parties to present and demonstrate products to potential customers. As social distancing has become apparent, these hosted house parties or events can no longer go ahead.

Instead, companies with MLM opportunities are turning to sales online to keep their consultants active. What's ironic about this, is that they are basically turning it into an affiliate marketing venture. However, consultants will only be allowed to sell the products of the MLM company they are involved with.

So, the choice now is owning a website and only selling one companies products, or own a website and sell any products you like (eg: traditional affiliate marketing). I know what I'd be choosing!

In fact, in most cases, the MLM company will still own the website. I've seen instances where they will give it to you free for 3 months, then you have to pay for it. eg: domain & hosting fees. This will be on top of other MLM fees. This is not the case with genuine affiliate marketing, where YOU own your own website.

Who Founded Tranont

According to the 2018 Inc. 5000, Lehi, Utah is the hottest city for entrepreneurship, and that’s where Lorne Berry has founded Trantont. Lorne Berry has an extensive real estate background, having master planned the Legacy Mountain cabin development in Utah.

Lorne Berry also has knowledge in other areas such as finance and international business, and has been a restaurant partner. During this time, he’s also become a financial educator, which is how he came up with the concept of Tranont.

All this points to a very successful businessman, which I’m not doubting one bit. However, I’d like to point out that in 2013, Lorne Berry and his wife filed for bankruptcy, as they had accumulated a $773,228 debt. Apparently, between them they had an average monthly income of only eight hundred dollars, and were bailed out by Berry’s father for $40,960.

So to come back from this and build a successful business, shows some determination.

What is Tranont

Dating back to 2014 when Lorne Berry founded Tranont, there has been some conjecture as to whether Tranont is a scam, pyramid scheme or simply an MLM. That’s not to say it isn’t a successful business, in fact it’s been recognized as one of America’s fastest growing companies back in 2018.

Tranont itself is a company that offers a select range of financial, legal and health products that are partnered with third party merchants. As part of this business plan, they offer you the chance to join as an affiliate to help sell their products.

While they elect to call it becoming an associate, you’re actually becoming an MLM partner. MLM stands for Multi Level Marketing, and works in a similar vein to a pyramid scheme. I must stress that this is not a pyramid scheme though, because pyramid schemes don’t sell any physical products.

Is This Affiliate Marketing

No, this is not affiliate marketing. While both affiliate marketing and MLM opportunities promote products, with affiliate marketing you’re earning full commissions based on the products you sell. For instance, if I promote a $100 product as an affiliate which has a 10% commission, I receive $10 commission.

MLM works differently as you’ll see in the image further down the page. Basically, the majority of any earnings goes to the partners at the top level, and the base levels partners receive a minuscule amount of commission.

However, the retail sales part of the payment structure at Tranont is more affiliate marketing like. But, Tranont earns the commissions, which is then distributed amongst the Tranont affiliates.

Tranont says they earn between 10-35% from merchants. So for that $100 product, Tranont will receive $10-$35. This is then distributed between affiliates based on how many service subscriptions an affiliate has sold. So you will likely only earn a fraction of this commission.

You’re also encouraged to recruit more MLM partners to do the same thing, hoping they will make more sales. This is because you’ll make small commissions from your recruits. Affiliate marketing is a much more sustainable system, which relies on your own work ethic. If you put the same amount of work into an affiliate marketing and MLM venture, you’d make much more money with affiliate marketing.

How To Get Started With Tranont

To begin selling products through tranont, you’ll first need to register with them, and pay a $99 startup fee, with an ongoing annual renewal fee of $49. Because you’ll be gaining access to these products at a reduced rate to on-sell them, Tranont cover themselves by making you pay this activation fee.

On top of this, you’ll have to pay a $125 recurring monthly fee.

Then you’ll have to purchase products to promote. This can range in value, but the ideal method to begin is by purchasing a starter pack. Here’s a few packs that you can begin with, including their cost.

Health

  • Tranont Health Core ($150)
  • Health Builder Pack ($339)
  • Family Builder Pack ($588)

Fitness/Beauty

  • Fitness Pack ($214)
  • Beauty Pack ($213)

Business

  • Business Smart Pack ($55)

So including the startup and recurring monthly fees, you could be spending $400-$500 before making any sales. Keep in mind that as a beginner, your chances of making any money in an MLM scheme are extremely slim.

Tranont Payment Structure

This is where things become a little murky. On one hand Tranont sells health and well-being products, so part of the compensation plan is geared towards this. The other half of the compensation plan is geared towards their financial services.

I’ll talk a little more about the products that Tranont promotes soon.

The Tranont compensation plan is confusing to say the least, much like all other MLM schemes. To get a better handle on the compensation details, you can watch the video below.

Once you get past the boredom of this video and attempt to understand the compensation plan, you may come to the conclusion that it will take quite a lot of recruiting effort before you’ll be making a decent monthly income.

In my opinion, you’ll need to recruit at least 50 others to become part of your team, to earn a level of income that is satisfactory. Even then, you’ll only be receiving $800 per month, of which $500 will be allocated towards a Jeep, should you take up their Jeep offer.

The hardest part, attempting to lure others into this same system.

Why MLM Success Is Rare

So, who really benefits from the success of Tranont. Sure, the business is highly successful. It’s gone from startup, to a multi-million, international company in three years after inception. But does that mean if you become a Tranont MLM partner you’ll make great money? I highly doubt it.

Joining MLM schemes have always created some element of scepticism. There’s good reasoning behind this though, because it’s been revealed that 73% of people that partake in MLM’s either lose money, or make no money at all. Here’s an image that may give some more clarification as to who makes the majority of the profits.

Tranont Products

So let’s take a look at what Tranont promote. What I find extremely unusual, is the nature of what’s being sold. Health/beauty on one side, finance and business on the other.

Retail Products:Tranont health retail products

The retail products that are sold and promoted through Tranont are mainly in the health niche. Here’s an example of the health and well being products

  • ICARIA Glow: Assists in rebuilding and rejuvenating your hair, skin, and nails.
  • [life]: combines the benefits of vegetarian full spectrum enzymes, stabilized probiotics and prebiotics to contribute to better nutrition and overall health.
  • [balance]: Improves your nutrient intake and support daily function.
  • [vibe]: Provides you with true energy and clarity to make it through the day.

Finance/Business:Tranont Business and Finance Products

Why these business and financial products are combined with selling health and beauty is beyond me.

  • Business Smart Pack: Tranont Defend, TaxBot, Tranont Tax, a Legal Library, and will preparation.
  • Credit Services: National Credit Care helps you improve your credit and fix errors on your credit report.
  • Tax Pack: The Tax Pack will give you access to Tranont Tax and TaxBot. Gives you access to tax consultation, advice, and tax return filings.
  • Tranont Defend: Protect your identity, your privacy, and your money.
  • Business Formation: Create a business structure to protect your personal assets.
  • Estate Plan: An Estate Plan including a Trust.

Is Tranont a Scam

So let’s get back to the initial title of this article, is Tranont a scam. In my view, no, Tranont is not a scam. This is a legitimate company with a business plan. They also sell products and services which removes them from the pyramid conversation.

However, I don’t believe this is a good opportunity to make money online. The majority of people that join MLM schemes lose money, or at best break even.

Pros & Cons of Tranont

Here’s some of the aspects that I do & don’t like about the Tranont Program

Pros

  • The business is successful, and has been a high performer

Cons

  • This is just another MLM scheme that rewards those at the top levels of the system.
  • Health products don’t correlate to the financial services provided.
  • Compensation plan is unclear and extremely difficult to get your head around.
  • Required to recruit others to give yourself any opportunity to make money.

Is There a Better Opportunity

While MLM’s can offer you the opportunity to sell their products, the main purpose is to recruit others to do the same. Your main income will come from those that you recruit, therefore putting your earning potential in their hands.

Why not cut out all the inhibiting aspects and go straight to affiliate marketing. This is a more simple route, and you have your destiny in your own hands. It’s what I do to make money online, as do so many other affiliate marketers.

It also gives you the opportunity to promote whatever you like, instead of being pigeonholed into the health supplement or financial service type products. You could choose to sell golf equipment or baby products. The possibilities are endless.

My Verdict

At the end of the day, we all want to make money from these opportunities online. I don’t believe Tranont is giving you the best opportunity. This is not a scam, nor is it a pyramid scheme, but it’s also not offering you the best chance of success.

I’ve shown you the model that I use to do this, and if you’d like to learn more about this method, read on below.

Like many people, I struggled in my early attempts to make money online. It's really frustrating when you try product after product, searching for that elusive opportunity that is really genuine.

Eventually though, I learned how to achieve success in the online world with my own website. This website was created to show others how to do it. I direct people away from the poor opportunities and advise the good ones.

But the simplest and least complicated is [Learn more...]
