Traffic Trapper 2.0 Review
We all understand that traffic is the lifeblood of any website or blog. Without website traffic, there are no sales, commissions, or leads. So it only makes sense that software programs will be promoted, to have you believe that they can boost your website traffic.
Can this really be done, or are the claims by these traffic boosting programs false. We’d all like to believe that a plugin or system can help us gain the extra traffic we need, to get more impact, engagement, and ultimately, sales.
I’ll run you through Traffic Trapper 2.0, to see what it’s all about.

What is Traffic Trapper 2.0
Traffic Trapper 2.0 may not be exactly what you think. If you’re imagining a piece of code or plugin that will somehow get visitors coming to your website for no apparent reason, you’ll be mistaken. The sales video talks about getting laser target website traffic on autopilot. This always had me a little sceptical, so I dug a little deeper.
It turns out that this is a WordPress plugin for your website, that will allow you to create Pinterest pins quicker than the manual method. So your targeted traffic will come from these pins or posts that you create through the plugin.
I feel the sales page and video is misleading, because it says nothing about Pinterest, or that social media is the main traffic generation method.
How Does Traffic Trapper 2.0 Work
Apparently, there’s only 3 simple steps to gaining traffic on autopilot with Traffic Trapper 2.0, as you can see in the below snippet, which was taken from the sales page.
I believe there’s a few steps that have been left out of this process. Like, creating a Pinterest account if you don’t already have one, and setting up Pinterest campaigns to promote. Anyway, I digress.
Once you’ve installed the Traffic Trapper plugin, you will need to connect your Pinterest account to your website. To help you along, you will find welcome & instructional videos once you’ve purchased Traffic Trapper 2.0, these videos will be accessed inside the members area. There’s a good chance you’ll be required to go through the training videos, as the plugin itself is not self explanatory. Here’s the 6 videos you’ll have access to:
- How To Connect Traffic Trapper To Pinterest
- Video 2 – How To Connect Traffic Trapper To Flickr
- Video 3 – How To Connect Traffic Trapper With Google
- Video 4 – How To Add The 500px Consumer Key (Images)
- Video 5 – How To Add The Unsplash Application ID (Images)
- Video 6 – How To Add The Pixabay API Key (Images)
This suggests to me that there’s even more to setup than just “Press GO & watch highly targeted traffic come in on Autopilot“.
Anyway, if you want to check out how it works before purchasing Traffic Trapper 2.0, there is a video that explains the plugin on the sales page, which is quite good. Here’s the actual process of setting up a new campaign within the plugin:
- Creating a new campaign
- Give your campaign a name
- Enter some relevant keywords for the post you’re promoting
- Including some hashtags
- Choose the Pinterest Board you want to send it to
- Select the number of posts per day you want to create for this campaign
- Select the number of days you’d like this campaign to run for.
- Choose the page for the campaign to link back to
- Click Save
If you noticed the explainer videos above, the last 3 are image websites. Connecting to these via the API key, consumer key etc, will allow the plugin to access images to use for your pins. What is basically happening here, is that you’re leveraging these images, to create pins of your own.
By adding keywords, the Traffic Trapper plugin should find relevant images. The problem I have here, is that often images have no relevance to a keyword that has been used. For instance, if you go to Unsplash and type in the keyword “camel two hump”, you’ll be presented with numerous images that have no relevance whatsoever.
So can you image what happens when you think pins are being done automatically. In my opinion, you’ll have to keep an eye on all your pins to make sure it’s chosen a relevant image.
You will also have the option to automatically follow people who’s pins you’re accessing. I do like this feature which can boost your follow numbers. It’s the pack mentality thing, you follow others and they tend to follow you back. Although Art tells you in the sales video that this is all for free, it’s not really. You’ve paid for it when you buy Traffic Trapper 2.0.
Will You See Results With Traffic Trapper 2.0
Possibly, but not the sort of traffic that is claimed on the sales page. In my opinion, Traffic Trapper 2.0 does have its flaws. The plugin does work, and there’s no doubt you will get some traffic from it, but I’m unsure about the quality of traffic.
I believe that getting laser targeted traffic on autopilot is just not possible. Manual pinning will always be more laser targeted, and this is your best chance of a bigger following.
In my opinion, you’ll get some traffic but it won’t be life changing.
Now, About The Upsells
Like many of these programs, you’ll be presented with 3 upsells.
- Upsell 1 – Traffic Trapper (Pro Version) $37 – This addition will offer you 10 pre-made templates that have been created by experienced copywriters, which will help you get off to a good start.
- Upsell 2 – Traffic Trapper (RESELLER Rights) $67 – If you’d like to sell this system to others, upsell 2 will allow you to do this. It gives you full resell rights which gives you 100% commissions to sell as your own.
- Upsell 3 – Software Bundle x3 $27 – These guys have previous softwares that can be bought. You can get 3 of these software products in this bundle.
You may notice that there are loads of great reviews for this product. Many of those are affiliate marketers just trying to make more money, so they give it a great review and vigorously promote the upsells.
I’d prefer to be more ethical than that, and just give you the facts. Sure, I’ll place my affiliate link in there because you may want to buy this product, but my review is genuine.
Is There Support for Traffic Trapper 2.0
Yes there is support for Traffic Trapper 2.0. At the bottom of the sales page is a “Support” link, which sends an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. They say you can expect a response within 24-48 hours.
My opinion of Traffic Trapper 2.0, is that you may get a few extra visitors, but it’s not an essential plugin. It’s in the category of “nice try”, but is not a convincing winner.
The claims of “In a nutshell, this unique and simple software will drive laser target traffic on complete AUTOPILOT allowing you to rake in consistent profits with ease”, is a little off the mark. It almost sounds scam like, but I’m not suggesting this is a scam.
Making consistent profits with ease is an oxymoron. Every affiliate marketer, online store owner or course creator has worked hard to make their profits. They may have done the hard work earlier, and start reaping the benefits years down the track. It doesn’t all turn around with a plugin like this
Also, the campaigns you create with Traffic Trapper 2.0 only work up to 60 days. So what happens after this time, you have to go in and reset the campaign. This is hardly autopilot!
Just to sum up, Traffic Trapper 2.0 is a legitimate product that could get you some extra traffic. I cannot see how it will explode your traffic numbers, but if you’re already an experienced Pinterest user, you may find this plugin helps you in some way.
As far as making huge profits on autopilot, forget it. If you’re searching for that great income generating solution, you may want to consider one of these alternatives.
