Drip Academy Review
Intro.
So, you want to make money online and have come across this program called Drip Academy. I’ve seen it too, in fact I’ve seen inside the course. I know that you’re now wondering:
“What is Drip Academy All About”
Well, I’m going to explain what’s in this course, and the type of people who this would be suited to. Some people are averse more to risk than others, and therefore are prepared to outlay larger sums of money. I’ll explain more about this once we get stuck in.
If you’re reading this article because you’re just searching for a way to make money online, I’d suggest this course will be way over your head. Those that are searching to make a quick buck, I suggest you stop looking. Those programs that say they can help you make money online in a short time-frame are scams.
Here’s my advice. Build your own profitable online asset. A website that brings in money. You need to start somewhere, and stop procrastinating. You can either be searching for the same kind of crappy ‘get rich quick’ products this time next year, or you could be well on your way to success. Just imagine where you’ll be this time next year if you start now. Here’s the best place to start.

What is Drip Academy
This course called Drip Academy, is a course that teaches how CPA marketing works, to the edge. CPA stands for Cost Per Action, and can earn you decent sums of money if done correctly. When I say that this course goes to the edge, I mean it borders on the rules allowed by advertising platforms.
The course touches on Facebook ads, Natives ads, Google Adwords, Bing ads and other platforms. It teaches how to use these resources, and the techniques that Phil uses.
The majority of the course is narrated, with simple content written slides. The majority of videos are 5-10 minutes in length, which is an acceptable length, some are longer. In my opinion, you can start to drift from the video focus with longer videos. I also don’t believe there are enough demonstrations, instead it’s too much of what you should do rather than how to do it.
The following video will show you Phil, the guy that runs the Drip Academy course.
Drip Academy From The Inside
You’ll find several modules on the inside, each is briefly explained below.
#1 Education Review
01-Watch This First – Basically, this section runs through the course dashboard and what’s on the inside. Like many of these programs, Phil goes through his huge earnings, showing you YOUR apparent earning potential. Hmmm!
02-Getting Started – This modules will teach you what CPA marketing is, how it works and any tools you’ll be required to use to progress to the standard in this course. I’ll touch on these external tools below, but they’re not cheap.
The other videos here also explain how to get started on your budget, how affiliate networks play a part, and do’s and don’ts of this business.
03-How To Setup Tracking & Postback URL – As it’s time to setup tracking, you’ll become familiar with a program called ‘ClickMagick’. ‘Voluum’ is another program that will come into play, and you will get a grip of what postback URL’s are, and how they will be setup for various affiliate networks.
04-Bing Ads – Bing Ads is a common and genuine platform for creating CPA offers. This module will explain the best type of campaign ads to run, setting up your Bing ads account and initial campaigns. You’ll also go through a video on Bing ads ‘profit hacks’, and how to install the Bing UET Tag. This UET Tag (Universal Event Tracking) is similar to the Facebook Pixel, which is used for conversion tracking.
05-Google Adwords – You need to keep on the right side of Google when participating on their playing field, so having a video explain the Google Adwords Policy basics is a good start. Having said that, I’m not convinced that some of the techniques you’ll learn in this course are going to always follow their guidelines.
The following videos discuss the best campaigns to run on Google Adwords, ‘Profit Hacks” and Pay Per Call techniques, including live spying on other Pay Per Call campaigns.
06-Facebook Ads – As the title suggests, you’ll be learning about Facebook ad campaigns in this module. You’ll run through the Facebook policy basics, getting started with a Facebook account, your first ad campaigns, creating ‘Lookalike’ audiences and campaigns, and again, Profit Hacks’.
What I find interesting here, is that Phil encourages setting up multiple accounts, so that WHEN your Facebook accounts get banned, you have backups! This doesn’t sound very savoury to me. He says throughout this course that getting Facebook, Bing and Google accounts banned, are part and parcel of running CPA campaigns. Well, I’m not aware of that.
07-Native Ads – RevContent is a native ad network (owned by the same company as Clickbooth). You’ll get a handle on the RevContent policy basics, how expensive it can be to get any sort of traction and how to get started with RevContent. It’s interesting that Phil suggests beginning your campaigns on $300 per day! He does say that this can be an expensive platform to gain traction, but will be worth it in the long run. This is exactly why, in my opinion, this is a risky approach.
08-Offers & Landing Pages – Understanding whether an offer is going to be worth your time and effort, are critical when you’re spending so much money. This next couple of videos are going to discuss how to pick an offer, and if you can tell whether it will do well. As stated in this video, ‘There are never guarantees in CPA marketing’.
Landing pages are another aspect that you will need to implement, because this is where your CPA campaigns will be directed to. You’ll get a brief explanation of the following types of landing pages:
- Squeeze pages
- Review Sites
- Review Bridge Pages
- Quiz Funnels
- Advotorials
Each explanation does come with an example.
09-Optimizing, Testing, and Scaling – There’s much to learn when it comes to optimising ad campaigns, and every marketer may do it differently. You will learn Phil’s optimising techniques, which he obviously swears by, as this is his course. I don’t necessarily disagree, as I haven’t tried the techniques myself.
You’ll learn how to deal with the competition, as this is a competitive space. You will also learn what ‘Bumps’ are, and how they can benefit you.
Two other things you’ll learn here are how to build a team to take you to the next level, and techniques in regards to ‘brand bidding’.
10-Accounts Issues & Suspensions – This is a module that concerns me. No legitimate course that teaches white-hat techniques, should require a video that discusses how to navigate banned or suspended accounts. I understand the need for backups and backup plans, but this step shouldn’t be a necessity.
11-The Winning CPA Marketing Mindset – This module discusses focusing on the correct figures when it comes to your business. Also learning how to find the ‘Low Hanging Fruit’ opportunities.
12-How To Use The DripRevenue CPA Network – Now, because Drip Academy is run by the founder of DripRevenue, you’ll get a run-through of how to setup a DripRevenue account. Obviously this includes promoting the products they have in their network.
13-Bonus Profit Hacks and Methods – This final module runs through advanced techniques that you may consider unethical. While Phil does explain that you need to do things by the book, I certainly wouldn’t be trying some of these tactics. This is obviously up to you, and depends of your own risk strategy.
#2 Tools Review
As far as tools are concerned, there are no integrated tools in this platform, apart from the linked Drip Academy network that Phil also runs.
He does recommend external tools to help you with your campaigns. Here’s the programs he suggests:
- Voluum – minimum $69 per month
- clickmagick – minimum $12 per month
- Multilogin (browser fingerprint control) – minimum $111 per month
So, while this is not only an expensive and risky way to earn money through CPA campaigns, there’s also some expensive upfront recurring associated costs.
#3 Support Review
Support seems to be available via email, Skype and as most do these days, a Facebook Group.
#4 The Cost
I believe that you could get more value for money elsewhere. $495 is at the higher end of the scale or this type of course, especially as there should be more walk-throughs. Much of the course is narrated with written slides, but don’t actually show you how to achieve exact methods via examples. There are some walk-throughs for setting up accounts, simple campaigns and a more thorough RevContent video, but I’d be more interested to see examples of the more advanced methods in regards to his ‘Profit Hacks’.

The Best of Drip Academy
#1 Knowledge
While I don’t believe this course is good for beginners because of the methods used, Phil has been doing this for a long time and does have extensive knowledge in CPA marketing. If you’re prepared to lose money in the beginning, and are also prepared to take risks to make as much money as possible in future, then you may learn a great deal from Phil.

This is a snippet from one of the lessons
What Puts Me Off Drip Academy
#1 Chances of Getting Accounts Banned
Phil clearly states that you will at some point, get your accounts banned. This includes Facebook, Google and/or other accounts that are required for your advertising campaigns. I don’t like the idea of having my accounts banned.
I’d prefer to create wealth with more legitimate methods, which should not see you ever have a banned account. I’ve never had a banned account yet, and I’ve used Bing ads and Facebook ads in the past.
#2 Tools/Features
As I mentioned earlier, the external resources that Phil uses do cost a lot of money. The course itself is just that, a training course that has no integration with keyword tools or other helpful resources.
#3 Money Required to Excel
While I do believe that Phil makes money this way, it’s not something I’d recommend if your just starting out, here’s why.
He states that when using Revcontent, it costs him $100,000 to make a 30-40% return. This is at a more experienced level, but he recommends starting $300 per day minimum. So, you will need to put lots of money in, to make money.
As far as building a team goes, he also mentions that he has paid out 60k to team members before advertising costs. So to get to his level, you’ll be building a team where you’ll need to make this kind of profit to pay your team, before making any profit to pay yourself.
#4 That Image!
I really don’t like show-off’s with their fancy cars. This makes me think scam immediately. Having seen the course, I know it’s not a scam, but this image is doing nothing to enhance the course credibility.

Would I Recommend Drip Academy
Phil states that this is the most advanced CPA course out there. I won’t be arguing that, as I haven’t ventured too far down that path to know of other courses. It’s not that I wouldn’t recommend this course in general, but I certainly wouldn’t recommend it for beginners, or if you’re searching for that quick get rich scheme.

Wrapping Up

For those that are searching for a safer way to start a wealth creation strategy online, read on below to find out how you can get started with a sustainable online affiliate marketing business.
Like many people, I struggled in my early attempts to make money online. It's really frustrating when you try product after product, searching for that elusive opportunity that is really genuine.
Eventually though, I learned how to achieve success in the online world with my own website. This website was created to show others how to do it. I direct people away from the poor opportunities and advise the good ones.

Once you into this course is when you come to know that you need a lot more money than for the external resources and tools.
Also had my FB accounts banned for promoting stuff that was not allowed and is being thought in the course.
Not at all beginner friendly and is a costly affair.
Appreciate your thoughts Niz.
From a first hand perspective, where you’ve implemented the training, it doesn’t surprise me that you’ve come to this conclusion. Social media sites have rules that need to be followed, and this course encourages you to create multiple accounts for when you accounts banned. As you say, it’s not beginner friendly.

Hi Nudge,
Thank you for writing such an extensive review on drip academy. Just like what I learned from my finance course, high risk = high returns. Sadly as much as I would like to take that risk and learn Phil strategy. Not only that I do not have to capital, I cannot be irresponsible and put my family finance in crisis. I still want to know his secret though lol. I will be on the look out for this platform and will share this to my friends.
By the way, I do agree, what is up with Phil’s picture? Suppose to make us believe that by following his strategy we can get the Mercedes and Cadillac? I think he can afford them from people’s subscription lol
Thanks again
Ha, appreciate your thoughts Nuttanee
Yeah, that image makes Phil look a bit showy doesn’t it.
As you say, high risk = high returns, which is the way some people like to roll. I understand not putting your family’s finances in jeopardy, I’m the same.
Thanks
This sounds interesting, but definitely expensive. I’m still trying to learn all I can about affiliate marketing, but at some point, it seems like it would be helpful to learn some of what this course has to offer. I probably wouldn’t use everything the course offers, since I also don’t care for having my accounts banned. It’s just a pain having to open new ones and always be sneaking around with VPNs and such. But I’m sure at least some of these strategies would be useful. I may look into it when I have some more cash to spare. Thanks for sharing!
Appreciate your thoughts Mark.
You’re spot on, as this course does provide some great information. You can take much of the info and implement it with your current online business model. Just take the parts that are more suited to you. CPA is a great way to earn revenue, it’s a proven method that works.
An indepth post, that guide us what will be expecting from the course, and also output required to substantial the course.
Getting account ban suggest an illegal action being apply to implement during the process.
High money input to the business before success, high monthly subscription cost suggest difficulty to maintain sustainability.
This is definitely not the course that I am after.
Thank for your comments Cheong
This course is by no means illegal or promote do they illegal actions. They just take the rules to the platform limit and there’s nothing wrong with that. It just depends if you’re willing to take the risk of having accounts suspended or banned, as Phil suggests this will happen.
I have been thinking of how to setup a profitable online business, if I am to buy your ideas, what are the necessary requirements I need to get started with. I’m really interested in this Drip Academy as it teaches how CPA marketing works and can earn me decent sum of money.
Sure Destiny.
If you’re not too concerned about having accounts banned, and your keen on CPA marketing, go ahead. This course may be just up your ally. Some people like to like on the edge and thrive off this type of thrill, rather than play it safe.
If you’d prefer to learn a more sustainable long term online business method, try Wealthy Affiliate.
Hi,
I have delved into CPA marketing a bit, but had to quit because I lost all of my money. The basic problem was that I did not get the right education from the onset. When I first heard about drip Academy, I thought this should be the magic pill to end my woes. But, I had to back off due to the high entry cost.
After reading your review, I found another downside of the course –teaching unethical methods that can get my account banned. I really don’t think it’s a good idea to promote methods that are against standard practices or are black/white hat by nature.
Since I’m still in the intermediate phase of CPA marketing I would rather go along with a program with a low entry cost and teaches sustainable strategies rather than loopholes.
Couldn’t agree more mate.
I’m sure this course would suit those that are risk averse, but there’s better methods that will keep your online business safe. And as you say, it’s a big outlay for a course when you compare it to others, such as my No1 recommendation.
Appreciate your
