What is Online Marketing Classroom
So, you’ve come across Online Marketing Classroom and decided to do some research to see if the program is all that it’s cracked up to be. Good for you, not everyone does this. So, lets get stuck into this review:
“What is Online Marketing Classroom”
I’ve checked out the training at Online Marketing Classroom, and I’m going to explain if it’s worth the money they are asking for. So let’s dive in and find out what is Online Marketing Classroom, and is it for you.
Product Name: Online Marketing Classroom
Founder/Owner: Steven Clayton & Aidan Booth
Product Type: Affiliate Marketing Course
Price: $1,497 Lifetime or $97/per month
Best For: Affiliate marketing beginners or advanced
Program Summary:While I agree that there’s a lot of good information in this course, in my opinion it is sporadic and more difficult to follow than other similar programs. There’s also rehashed information from other courses these guys have created.
Would I Recommend It: Yes, but there’s a much better alternative.
What is Online Marketing Classroom
This is a fairly wide ranging course that covers a vast amount of content. This includes affiliate marketing, email marketing, YouTube marketing, Facebook marketing, paid advertising, social media marketing, eCommerce stores, dropshipping, digital products and so much more.
The videos for each lesson in this course are fairly long, so although I believe the content is correct, it becomes tedious to concentrate for long periods of time. Many of the videos seem to have been done to a live audience, and therefore are a little haphazard in their approach.
Much of the video content has been used in other courses that have been created by Steven Clayton & Aidan Booth going back to 2014, and of course they’ve added updated content that is more relevant.
What I find interesting, is that these guys are close to the founder of Affilorama, a separate affiliate marketing course. Mark Ling is the founder of Affilorama, and he takes some of the courses here, or introduces the course tutor.
Online Marketing Classroom From The Inside
I’m going to explain what you’ll find on the inside of Online Marketing Classroom, so you can compare it to other programs such as my preferred recommendation. The inside of this program will show you multiple classrooms, exactly as the program course suggests. Knowing where to begin is the biggest challenge to newbies, as many are not sure which marketing direction they intend taking.
#1 Education Review
The breadth of this program is so vast, that it can be extremely daunting for new members to understand which path they should take. Whilst there is a little bit of structure, this is not a ‘begin here and end here’ type of platform.
I believe new budding entrepreneurs require a direction to take, whether it’s YouTube affiliate marketing, marketing with no website, or Facebook marketing targeted towards your website. Before outlaying any money on a course, define how you want to build wealth.
Because these tutorials are 30-60 minutes long, you could spend lots of wasted time viewing videos that are not relevant to what you actually intend to achieve.
#2 Tools Review
Many of the tools suggested in this Online Marketing Classroom course, involve signing up to third party sites. They recommend Leadpages, Clickfunnels etc, which all cost a lot of money for beginners. However, they also recommend a few free programs that can help with organisation, such as Trello and Filezailla.
#3 Support Review
There is an email support system, along with a Private Facebook page to get help from the mentors or group community.
#4 The Cost
In my opinion, the cost is way too much. Similar programs are worth much less, and provide all the information required to learn affiliate marketing. When you think about the lifetime cost of nearly $1500, I’d like you to compare it to my No.1 recommended course.
Wealthy Affiliate costs $495 per year (you can also pay month by month). If you haven’t learned how to make money via affiliate marketing within 2 years, you’ll probably give it away at that point. Even if you decided to try WA for 3 years, the cost is still less than Online Marketing Classroom. WA also provided much better integrated tools and resources.
The Best of Online Marketing Classroom
Steven Clayton, Aidan Booth and Mark Ling are all very knowledgeable affiliate marketers. I’m not knocking Online Marketing Classroom at all, the information provided is current due to the updates, and is all relevant.
Although these guys are genuine in their approach to teaching affiliate marketing, I also believe they are keen to take as much money from you as possible. Not only is the course expensive, they make money from these third party site you sign up to.
#3 Know What You’re Getting
Having browsed the Online Marketing Classroom sales page, the course information is outlaid for you to understand what you’re going to learn. I do like this aspect, which is is accessible without having to hand over your email address or create an account.
What Puts Me Off Online Marketing Classroom
Way too much money. No need to say anymore about this.
Online Marketing Classroom does provide tools and resources to supplement the course, but most are external. They offer you a promotional code to get access to various resources which can allegedly help with some elements of your online business.
Whilst I don’t believe these resources are detrimental in any way, they are not the same useful tools that Wealthy Affiliate integrate into their own platform.
#3 Sales Page
The Online Marketing Classroom sales page claim their different courses cost thousands of dollars, if bought individually. They’re not the first marketers to do this, and they certainly won’t be the last. But I really don’t like it when they provide a list of courses with a huge $ amount of what each is worth if bought separately. Then show you the cost of this course, making it look like you’re getting a great deal.
If fact, I’m not even sure you can purchase these courses separately. And of course, they’ll also tell you this is a ‘limited opportunity’. This is a scarcity marketing tactic to have you believe that you need to purchase it now.
#4 A Little Fluff in This Course
All the information in this Online Marketing Classroom course is valuable. However, the videos go on too long with some fluff talk. I’d rather they got straight to the point and had the video completed in under 10 minutes. How much time do they think we have to spare.
Would I Recommend Online Marketing Classroom
Whilst this course will gain you the knowledge that you’re after, it may take you a very long time to piece everything together. Not that I wouldn’t recommend it, but in my opinion, I’d recommend a different course that you can read about below.
Is There a Better Option
Absolutely there is a better option, and a cheaper one at that. It’s called Wealthy Affiliate, and you can read about it here. You’ll learn all the steps of affiliate marketing in the correct order. The course is not so sporadic as Online Marketing Classroom. All the tools and resources are integrated, including a website builder. Your website hosting is all included in the one membership fee, there are no up-sells.
Tired of seeing Scams or endless fraud sites?
Well, you can learn a great deal here, but you want to know exactly what it is, you intend to learn. I believe the cost of the program is so high, because the work put into this course has taken a lot of time. Having created many lessons in the past, and incorporating them into this course is an ingenuous idea. This is a very valuable asset to them.
Whilst this is a good course if you’re looking to do affiliate marketing, my advice is to read on below, and check out my preferred recommendation.
Like many people, I struggled in my early attempts to make money online. It's really frustrating when you try product after product, searching for that elusive opportunity that is really genuine.
Eventually though, I learned how to achieve success in the online world with my own website. This website was created to show others how to do it. I direct people away from the poor opportunities and advise the good ones.
But the simplest and least complicated is [Learn more...]
