Intro.

Are you kidding me! A secret to making money online! Okay, maybe there is a formula that will give you an edge over everyone else, so “what is the secret to making money online”?

To be honest, there’s a few processes you can put in place to set you up for success, and I’ll name them below. Each of these things are achievable by anyone that is determined enough to create wealth online. To be honest though, they’re hardly a secret.

So here you go, my top ‘Secrets’ to making money online. You may not want to hear the truth but I’ve gotta tell it like it is.

#1. No Magic Bullet

Without bursting any bubble that you seem to be in, if you’re after a magic bullet to fix all your financial woes, then it just ain’t going to happen. I’ll speak more about this below, but so many people fall for scam websites because they offer outrageous amounts of income with minimal work.

These are exactly the sites you need to avoid. There are options out there to make money online such as survey sites, sweepstakes, opening an online store or becoming a blogger. Although these are legitimate opportunities, the first 2 will make you very little.

The other 2 options are extremely viable and often very profitable. But…you will need to work at both. As I said, there’s no magic bullet, just education and a little work.

#2. Stay Away From Scams

So many unscrupulous jokers out there are trying to accept your money from having bogus websites created for their own benefit, not yours. I’ve written about a few of these scams, like Best Cash Job and Home Online Profits Club, which you wouldn’t be sending Xmas cards to.

My friend Grace over at Work Anywhere Now has written hundreds of reviews about these types of scams, which don’t work in the best interests of their signups. Many of these are sites will take your money for some apparent type of investment, but never payout when it comes to a withdrawal.

Their offers sound too good to be true, that’s because they false and misleading. My advice, do not sign up to any of these.

#3. Offer Solutions to Problems

What are people generally searching for when they go to Google? Yep, they look for a solution to a problem. So, if you can create or advise a solution to a commonly asked questions or issue, people will come and pay for those solutions.

This can be in the form of a blog, where you become an authority or expert in the blog topic you start up. For instance, you could be a dog enthusiast and therefore decide to begin a King Charles Cavalier blog. Offer advice on all types of issues and how they can be solved. Include products that you can sell to your visitors via affiliate marketing, or your own products. Alternatively, set up your own online store that sells all types of dog products. You can read about both alternatives here.

If you can create some sort of item that can help multiple people solve a problem, you may just hit the jackpot in terms of offering this item to other stores. Instead of selling affiliate products yourself, you could set up an affiliate program to have affiliates sell your product.

What is the Secret of Making Money Online solution

Another thing you could do is create a course to help people receive a result they’ve been searching for. For instance, a course on dog training would be so beneficial to new dog owners, with lack of time to make it to a physical training center. They can watch it and put it into practice at home.

#4. This is Your Business

As a blogger or online store owner, you really want to take this seriously. If you’re after a major tip, or ‘secret’ if you like, here it is. Don’t treat your new venture as a hobby. It’s fine to do so if you only intend making hobby type income, but if you want to make this a full time change, treat it like one.

Any online business requires constant activity and maintenance. That means working at it everyday. When your business starts to take off, you need to be prepared for the upkeep.

This upkeep depends on the type of business you’re building. If you become an affiliate marketer, you’ll require spreadsheets to keep track of your incoming payments, referrals and maybe even each blog you’ve written.

Store owners have more house keeping with invoices, shipping, taxes, customer service etc.

If you own an online business just like this blog, treat it like a business and give it time to thrive.

Now, no online business will take off in a couple of weeks, so let’s talk about longevity.

#5. Longevity Wins

As I touched on briefly at the end of the above section, those who outlast the hobbyists will win the war. You want success, you need to build it. Remember, no magic bullet it going to shoot you to the stars. If you think there is a better opportunity than being a store owner, course creator or affiliate blogger, then good luck finding it. Just don’t fall for those scammers!

All successful online business people have a few things in common. They are determined, they are consistent, and they keep motivation for a website through the tough times. These are qualities that anyone either has, or can learn.

Wrapping Up

So, what have you learned here. Your main takeaway should be that you will probably have to work a bit harder than you first thought. That doesn’t mean you lose your life. Take my blog for instance. I generally write a blog every 2 days, it’s not that difficult.

You know there’s no magic bullet, and to keep away from those scam websites. Honestly, falling for these could cost you big time.

Building a business requires a business mindset. That doesn’t mean you need to be as savvy as Richard Branson, it just means don’t treat your website like it’s a part time activity. Your site may take a long time to get traction, especially if you’re doing it cheaply like using SEO to rank your web posts. But the longevity you’ll possess will outlast all others eventually.

This is exactly how my site here got to this stage. It all took time, but eventually through persistence, my rankings went in a steep upward direction. Now it is my main business, although it didn’t start like that. But I kept the business mindset knowing it would work.

If you have any questions or would like to know how I became a successful affiliate marketer, read on below.

Like many people, I struggled in my early attempts to make money online. It's really frustrating when you try product after product, searching for that elusive opportunity that is really genuine.

Eventually though, I learned how to achieve success in the online world with my own website. This website was created to show others how to do it. I direct people away from the poor opportunities and advise the good ones.

But the simplest and least complicated is [Learn more...]
